It's almost the weekend.

Once again we have a jam packed weekend ahead of us. Kyle is in The Taming of the Shrew at school. He plays an old man. I'm not sure of the spelling of the characters name. As usual he steals the show with is acting. The boy is a comic. I was too busy trying to video tape the 3 hour long show to bring any knitting with me. Altho at lunch I did almost finish the preemie gown I've been working on. Once I figure out how to post a photo on here I will show the finished product. It is so small it looks like it's for a doll. I've also made 2 of the ruffled bonnets and booties to go with them. Those are adorable. Just need to get some ribbon to embellish them. I think I'm going to make some blanket squares next something quick and easy that I don't need to concentrate on a pattern. I try to balance out the harder things with the easy. I got some Caron's Simply soft Baby sport in yellow. I thought it would make great sqaures. Hard to believe I found that in a basket of yarn at the Salvation Army store. I go there to bum around on lunch now and again. You never know what you will find in those places. Hey I will take half priced yarn anyday! It was a nice surprise. Great to take advantage of when you aren't wooried about having enough to make something. It's great to make the preemie things - you get so many items out of a small amount of yarn.
